Salary range: £23,723 to £40,000 (Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Plus, potential RA C £1500 for Course Team Leader
Contract Type: Full time 1.0 OR 0.5 part time, permanent contract available

Not only can we offer the chance to teach successful, intelligent and ambitious students across a range of courses including sociology, psychology, law, public services and criminology, but we can do so in the beautiful Cotswold setting of Cirencester. The department itself is a vibrant, supportive and forward-thinking team; the teaching staff work together closely and have a genuine passion for the subject. We are seeking adaptable and creative individuals to join our high achieving team and contribute to curriculum initiatives. Candidates should also expect to act as a personal tutor.
Your teaching timetable will be mainly or wholly Sociology A Level; a great opportunity whether you are experienced, new to the profession or want to make the switch from an 11-18 school.
Candidates should have a commitment to further education and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning. The ability to work well within teams and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess a good honours degree in a relevant subject and a teaching qualification. It would be advantageous to have had experience teaching (or willingness to) teach other subjects, such as psychology or criminology.
