Assistant Financial Accountant

Contract type:   Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week
Salary:                 Support Salary range 39 – 41: £23,409 – £25,042 (salary dependent on qualifications and experience)

Cirencester College is looking to appoint a competent and experienced M/AAT as an Assistant Financial Accountant.
The post holder will be working in a key area of the College with a high degree of staff contact.  This position is full time and permanent.
The duties are wide-ranging and in keeping with a busy and successful finance function. The post holder will be expected to be flexible in support of the College in carrying out its finance assurance function.
Ideally, we are seeking someone who is M/AAT qualified, with sound experience of working in a fast paced and friendly small to medium company finance function, being responsible for financial accounting to trial balance, cost centre management reports, variance analysis, Balance sheet control accounts, reconciliations and have excellent IT skills and ability to communicate at all levels
